hi. i have a 2003 yamaha kodiak 400 4 wheeler that has been working very well for me until the exaust tip and the spark arrester rotted out so now it is very loud. my question is will it hurt the engine to run it without the spark arrester?

Not at all, It's only for what it's called. Keep sparks for catching woods on fire.

ok thanks for the help. now i can stop worrying. didnt want to have to replace the whole exaust.
