With the building of a new track comes the challenge of making all of the cars that will eventually race on it equal. I've read a few of the club rules regarding T-Jets, most are similar in most concepts but so far the rules for the Mid-America HO Racing Club fit my expectations with very few exceptions. Since there are only so much you can really do to a TJ, this narrative gives me something to watch out for.
Regarding bodies though, the rules seem more tailored to resin cast examples. So far I've found one good source for 1960's era SCCA sports cars, and that's Road Race Replicas. I do have a very nice diecast Cobra 427 and a Porsche Spyder I'd like done in Resin and I'm still looking for a caster to take on this project. These two plus the 58-62 Corvette will be the prinicpals in this type of competetion. Here's the Cobra and Porsche next to my T-Jet Dash Fairlane.

I don't have the year Vette yet but I am looking for one from the same series these two diecasts are from. If a resin caster would like to try their hand at making them I can make them a SPEC body if they turn out good and can make them affordable. I like RRR's cars, I just can't swing nearly $25 each for his kits, especially when I'm looking at 10+ cars I'll be building.
