Since this is a bad time to look for Hot Wheels since Target doesn't like to fill the pegs because they usually reset the toy isle right after Christmas & Walmart still has the same junk, I figured Target should be clearancing this stuff after Tuesday, will need to buy a bunch when they do!!!!!

It does have a heavy metal trailer, the truck could've used a little more metal in it but still cool anyway.

Ive been seeing alot of military vehicles at my walmart. I think most of them are 1/43, But they have tremendous detail. I always consider buying one but never got around to it. I think ill go get one now. Cool truck btw. What brand is it?

I usually don't buy them, they are a little pricey unless you can get them at a clearance price. I have only seen them at Target, they are in the Transformer & Action Figure isle. It is Forces of Valor from Unimax(I know, I never heard of them either) On the side it says it is 1:72 Scale, it was $14.99. They have all different scales, I bought this last year, it is 1:32 Scale. They had a M1 Abrams & a Bradley also but I was getting cheap & was waiting for the next price drop & Target sold them all before I could get one.

It is funny, when I was in the military, they had a few of these. They were trying to get it haul the first M1 Abrams, was it a hoot. They dragged the tank just enough that all the wheels on the trailer caught on fire from the smoking the bearings. Man it was funny thean crap. Was kind of funny the military didn't have a trailer to handle the M1 Abrams & always had to get outside civilian help with that area. James

That truck is really cool! Never seen anything quite like it.
It looks like a WWII armoured heavy equipment hauler.(???)
Thanks for showing it!

It was, but I was stationed at Fort Hood & we had about 10 of them left in 1989. They were selling them when I got there since they couldn't haul anything. I think they were experimenting with one to see if the trailer could handle the weight. I think they got most of the old stuff since they had big Government auctions there. They had a few Gama Goats, a couple Jeeps, tons of the old Dodge M880's. James

Humveetech, those were the M911 C-Hets made by Oshkosh and the M747 trl which had 16 wheels.I was at Hood 83,84 and and again in 88,89 and never saw a Dragon Wagon

Maybe they did use the Het to try to haul the Abrams, I know the 2 Engineers that were standing there thought it could, but I know they had 2 Dragons in that motorpool.

I think I am way off on my dates, I didn't do to 700 HHSC MSB motorpool until after the Gulf War was just about over. I want to say in 90-'91. I was in that motorpool '90-'93, but I know they had 2, I can't remember exactly what they were doing with them, because I even saw a few of the Gama Goats too. I know about that time they were opening up a museum on base somewhere & I know they did put a Gama Goat in front of the unit near the brig & I thought they also stuck the Dragon Wagon in front of the transportation unit over by the DOD civilian motorpool area. They do have 1 of each of the Jeeps, Gama Goats & Dragons. I need to find my pics, I got loads of pics somewhere.

I need to check my maps on West Fort Hood, that is where I know they store a lot of older stuff, some they use to train on & others just for storage.

I remember seeing over 500 of the Chevy Blazers & pickups, they were phasing them out with the remainder of the Dodge trucks they had floating around.

I went back there to train for the Guard in 2000, they gotten rid of it all except the older Abrams, Bradleys & started to stck up Hummers. Most they use for the Guards & Reservist to train on. James

They probably brought them in for restoration,so they could put them in a museum. We did have problems with tires blowing on the 747 trl when carrying M1s but that was due to improper tire inflation more than any thing else. The Gamma Goats were phased out as the Humvee came on line.

I went to tru today. Saw a bunch of new gl and jl casting. Bought the Monc3 chrysler 300 and a wicked wagon cadalac rl1. I saw that flatbed truck there to. I was tempted to get it. THey even had one box with little figures on a battle field. The small vehicles are extremely detailed. Most include little accesories to go on the vehicles such as tools, weapons, chains, figures, ect.
