I was thinking wouldn't it be great if Spektrum made a USB RX for your computer. I am not talking about a whole new system, just an RX that will bind to the current Normal, PRO and HRS transmitters and moduals and emulate a joystick on PC or MAC.

With a USB RX I could play any computer racing simulations using my radio. All that is needed is change the RX to output to USB instead of PWM and develope some PC drivers to allow the PC see the RX as a joystick remote.

After that I would love to see a very high end r/c simulator like FORNZA. I am too fond of batteling my drivatar and other friends drivatars.

Anyone agree?

Serpent used to make a setup like this years ago. Don't know if it is still avaliable or if it will work with modern radios though.

Learning to use your remote is part of "chassis" setup. Knowing what each feature does can tune you to your car and not your car to you. Chassis set-up should be for tuning the car to the track. With adjusting the car to the track, the radio to the car you should be able to drive alot better and faster. If you reverse the process it will be hard to find out if your car is really going as fast as it could around the track.

For those reasons alone I think using my personal remote (3PKS) while playing on my PC would be alot better of training than using a cheap joystick remote that was included with a R/C simulation game.
