Those small T.V. Series models from Benbros are quite neat, it never became as poppular as the Matchbox Series from Lesney.
It makes me giggle to picture when the guys from Benbros was "brainstorming" to come up with a gimmick to top the Matchbox succes: "Well old chap, a T.V. must be more popular than a darn matchbox"

I really like the mono-chromatic/all green scout car. Are they made in England?

The answer to your question is France (just kiddinŽ ;) of course English toys were the best in the world in the 1950s!)
Intersting site that I hadnt seen before.
I also havent seen those neat TV boxes either -the toys look fine especially the Ferret and the boxes are a wonderful example of the lack of marketing savvy many companies showed in the 1960s.......

The TV series box is definitely more interesting than this one. I like that Daimler Scout Car.
