We really must try to get something else than HWs showing in this vintage section ;)
Quite often I pick up stuff that are not in my collecting focus, most of this stuff I sell or trade. But now and then an item "grows on me" and I hang on to it :freak:
This Lotus is one of those items
It's a large scale Gama (made in western germany) made in plastic. The smaller one is a Matchbox Lotus just to show size.

Wow, that's pretty cool!
I realy love how it matches the MB right down to the #3 racing numbers!
You should paint the rims yellow ;)
The only thing wrong with that one is I think the front tires are supposed to be smaller
than the rear ones - like on the MB.
Nice pic Karl!

Actually they are smaller, the angle of the "shot" is cheating. Rearwheels are 67mm high and 26mm wide frontwheels are 62mm and 22mm.

Superb model also in the late Jim Clark´s colours. Because of these diecast rather than any other source some folks are hearing the name of the late great F1 champion Jim Clark for the first time.A few but not many other drivers can be directly connected to vintage diecasts of their real 1:1 rides
