OK, here is a question for anyone in the know. Does anyone have a simple method to duplicate rivets in a plastic or resin body?

Also, when , making "scribe-lines" I always seem to make them just a tad too large compared to scale. I see some very thin(nice) lines in others resin bodies. I usually use an assortment of dental picks given to me by my B-I-L. He is a dentist. Once I scribe the line I go back over it until I like it. But it never fails that it is either too thick or too wide. Gives it that Hot Wheels look sometimes. What is the trick you are using? Any tips?

Realize you are talking to me, so please keep it as simple an explanation as possible... :freak:

Bill, try a toothpick and 5-minute for the epoxy for the rivets. Takes a little practice but works good. Scribe lines are a lot easier if you tape a depth guide on the pick, wrap masking tape on the end, when you get to your depth you'll feel the tape dragging. What I use are the dinosaur claw looking blades for the X-Acto handle, they look like Raptor claws and give more control.
