I just bought a new scalextric digital race set that came with 2 nissan 350z cars. One car drives well and the other wont stay on the track. there seems to be a spring under the guide pin that is holding the front tires off the track. Can anyone tell me if this is my problem, or what the problem is? If this is the problem, how do I take the spring out? If it is not the problem, maybe someone knows what the problem is. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks a lot!!!

If its similar to the analog cars from Scalextric, that spring should not be pushing the guide and braid down, but instead, it should be keeping the guide and braid returning to center each time. You may need to pop the guide out and reposition that spring or guide return piece correctly. The instructions that came with your digital car set should show you had to properly remove and replace your guide and braid setup. Take a look at it and see if that helps.

I'd love to tell you, but I do not own any digital cars, just analogs and I'd expect/hope they were not much different, but just do not want to tell you wrong, just in case.
