This was a tought set to finish. They rarely showed up at WM and when the did eveyone grabbed the Streakers! Had to epay to get the last three.
That makes 3 completed sets of MB Superfast!!! The '04, '05 & '06+'07!!!!!!
(other than a few variations and toy show or dealer exclusives)

I was tempted to give up too, but just kept at it and little by little I finally found them all. The white VW with numbers on the doors was the last one to finish the '04 cars for me, it took forever to get one on epay where I wasn't outbid by rediculous prices.

I found most of the harder to find and more desireable ones.. but couldn't find some of the uglier ones that I didn't even feel were worth the $3 shelf price and couldn't see paying $5 plus shipping on ePay for them :jest:

I had that same problem with the less desirable/ugly ones. Fortunately someone was listing them on epay with 2 different cars per auction from same series. They had a several listings of ones I needed and they were willing to combine shipping costs. When all was said and done I ended up getting them shipped to my door for slightly less than I could buy them off the pegs originally since no one bid against me on them.

Mbox is a joke of a company. They make them exclusive to a store like Walmart and then half of thier stores dont even put them out. I see on other websites how people complain about distribution and I got to agree w/them. Those 55th cars are also non-existent.

NascarCollector, I'd like to welcome you to the boards here on the MB section of JL. I do understand that distribution of the superfast/streakers is not good in some places, but the 55th anniversary cars( Bronco, Mini, and Lexus) have been pretty good. I see them on the pegs alot around here after I found one of each for myself. Unless your in an area where scalpers think they are chase cars, they are not hard finds.

I just hung 1 each of the 55th cars and a blue DD on a peg all by their lonesome today at TRU so somebody doesn't have to search the pegs for them. So they aren't that hard to find.
As far as the NSF and SFA distribution, thats a whole different can of worms!
