FIRST! YOWZA!! I had no idea that my scanner was sooo cool! I couldnt take a photo like this!
Second: What is your take on the scale of the section from a Tamiya WWII German 8Ton Semitrack kit. It sure seems a lot larger than 1/35??
Either way this is the perfect size of Diamond plate that I need. Just in case the dime is 17mm in dia.

Not sure what you mean Fluke, are you saying you want a treadplate in 1/35 or that it's overscale and therefore ideal for a larger scale model that you are making?
If so what scale are you after since there are a lot of aftermarket sheets available.

Sorry about that...typical me
The photo is exactly what I want. but as you can see..I need a lot more than what is there.
The floor segment in the photo is from a WWII Tamiya 1/35 8 Ton Semitrack kit ...but too me that is NOT 1/35 scale....it looks more like 1/20th or 1/24th....so yes its overscale and I want it!
Diamond plate at 1/35 is almost noticeable....as I can see in the Voyager PE set I have before me....that I can not use.
A Polish company called Aber...has a sheet of 'modern' style Diamond Plate that is 1/24....so I sent them the same pic and asked if they could compare and see if they match up...I also added the dimes dimentions in cm & mm and that I could go a 'bit' larger but NOT smaller.
If anyone wants to trade a big sheet of 1/35 brass Diamond plate PE set for 1/24 Diamond plate I'm game.
