Interestingly enough the Target near where I work is sold out of the 1/43 SCX sets.
This store has never had the twin packs of cars but has carried the race track sets.
Yes, I am surprised....

our super Target has lots of sets extra track and Nascar twin packs.. doesn't seem to be moving at all here, I may be forced to buy it all to encourage more slots in the store lol...

Hey Coach,

On this subject and just a General Discussion question, why don't we have a 1/43 size slot car forum on Hobby Talk  I know there is one for Die cast. Just curious :)

Thanks,
Tom

Is there enough support for it?

I wrote a post on the DL about how quickly the Mattel Neon Challenge sets sold out at the local Costco. I know there may be a lot of issues surrounding selling slot car sets ( percentage of returns from breakage, etc.), but it seems to me that whenever ANY store has slot car sets, they sell out really quickly. Far more quickly than any other toy.
Just makes me wonder why manufactures and retailers would not keep that line stocked. They fill their shelves with all kinds of Hot Wheels junk that stays there for months, but only occasionally will you see a slot set.
Think how much better they would sell if the stores also stocked replacement and add-on parts. And the manufacturer provided web based support.
