View Full Version : Dirt oval options
22Dasher 12-11-2007, 09:12 AM Hey guys,
I've been looking into purchasing a Dirt Oval Nitro Late model and haven't had much luck in locating one. I've been late on a few and have read of a RC 10GT with O.F.F. conversions can someone direct me to a link of these parts and if you had the funds what would you actually build if you were building a new Late model? I'm looking for something thats first pratical, then durable, easy to tune to track conditions and then fast.
Thanks for any help you can provide oh yea this is for 1/10th scale.

Todd Putnam 12-11-2007, 03:12 PM We just released our new dirt oval kits, both electric and nitro. They can be run as a Late Model or as an EDM, just like the CW cars- came cars, different body.
We TQ'd the US Open Wheel Champs in our first outing, so it is a very competitive car.
Contact me at the shop for details M-F, 9-5 EST-

SDL98 01-06-2008, 02:54 PM Well another question for someone, I'm a pancar racer so I don't know much about whats available for dirt cars. I see some conversions for the B3 but I don't think you can buy a B3 anymore new that is. Is the B4 that much different or are there any conversions for it. Like to build a EDM or Latemodel
huffrcman 01-06-2008, 03:51 PM Most kits use the B3 tranny and B2 rear arms, GFRP has a gearcase that uses B4 internals.Custom Works sells rear arms that are for the GBX line of cars.B4 arms are much longer than the B2 arms. There are many choices out there for electric dirt oval cars based from the B3.
huffrcman 01-06-2008, 08:28 PM Here's a conversion for the B4,http://www.tlrchassis.com/home.php
SDL98 01-06-2008, 11:05 PM Thanks for the reply
racer34v 01-07-2008, 09:44 PM There are an abundance of gfreat dirtoval kits on the market now, Putnam and soon to be released Hyperdrive kits all come complete as well as the customworks GBX. The tlr car requires a donor B4 but is an excellent looser track car.
check out dirtoval.com good group there
