got a few interested in coming from north carolina just wanted to know what the car count was looking like for 13.5, 10.5, and mod havent been there in about 7,8 years and think it would be a fun trip thanks.

Should be coming with at least 3-4 people from Vermont, not sure what classes yet, we'll have to see what Santa brings for Brushless ??

13.5 looks to be creating the most interest, in both pan car and SK. I'm thinking without the motors to work on it will allow most to run two classes, that's my plan. If interest keeps building the way it is, there will be a full field in 10.5 and mod also.
Be nice to see you guys again, the more racers the better the racing. Interest is growing everyday, feeling like a Winter Blast of old. Be nice to see this return to be the must race of the year. Bill B

What is the 1/12 scale car of choice for those attending winterblast? I heard from a couple that it is KSG. Does anyone run the CRC Razor?? I want to make sure we have the necessary 1/12 scale parts on hand just in case! SO PLEASE let me know ASAP. Thanks!!!

Wow, this thread is turning into the Winterblast Family Re-Union thread! I like it! Anyone else from Winterblast's in year's past that want to say hello, share a favorite memory, etc...??? Let's hear it! Oh, and don't forget this is where you also post what class you intend on running for this year's Winterblast!

I have to add in, Speaking of winterblast's from the past. I got some Vidoes that i found while cleaning that you guys are NOT gonna want to miss. BUT in order to see them you'll have to come to the WinterBlast. I'll Have them Playing all weekend for everyone to have a look back at races from the past. And what we plan to get the Blast back to be, THE RACE OF THE YEAR TO BE AT!

I can remember two events for sure. One had I think nearly 400 entries, Went to dinner, plowed some Itian food down, guzzeled a ton of beer, went back to the track only to find I had another 20 heats until I was up again!! Long FUN WEEKEND!!!

Second was a call from my parents to figure another way home due to a blizzard that hit the east cost and PA had I think 10 inches of snow and we had a bridge collapse, and CT had almost 3 foot of snow and no major problems!

Good times up there for sure!

If the past tells me anything, not all racers spend any time on threads like this one. From past years experience you cannot judge turnout expectation by posts to web based threads. Maybe in some parts of the country it does, but here in the northeast the threads don't hold any water.

Exactly what bill has said. We have a list on the counter at the store that is way more impressive than the one here. Myself, i havnt had the time to do any web updates. But the list is a good one.
