I am not a true collector I guess ince my wife and I are only focusing on the Carsfrom the Disney movie.

I was wondering if anyone could help me with a couple of questions:

1) what are good resources tofind out what cars are actually availble.

2)where are good places other than retail stores to get them or a way to bribe a store maanger for first dibs(LOL)!

3)A errors worth buying? I have one and am bidding on a second.

Welcome and you are a true collector, even if it is only 1 thing you collect. Patience is a virtue, even when collecting. Stuff that was hard to get last month is usually plentiful a month or so later.

I'm not a collector either, I was just buying that little set of Matchbox cars for my coffee table. 3,500 cars later............. :rolleyes:

k-mart has had a ton of these the last 2 weeks. all the new and older cars. mario, darrell, you name it, earnhardt, cars i had never heard of. but, i don't collect them, and helped some parents find ones they wanted for their kids so they wouldn't have to pay an outrageous price on ebay or a flea market, for a toy for their 4 year old at christmas.

If you are near a Walmart, I would keep my eyes on them & buy from them. Cheaper & they seem to get the newest stuff in lately. Target has just gotten in the Whitewalls McQueen finally around here. I just found Fred at Walmart today. I left a bunch that I hadn't seen. It was Filmore with the headset on his head, Merc with the headset on also, Bling Wheel McQueen. James

I recently found Cutlass, Cartrip, and Earnhardt at a local grocery store. These were $3.99 each, but I figured it was worth the extra money to get them now instead of running around to the other stores for a couple of weeks searching for them.

So always look in the toy aisles when grocery shopping!
(I've heard that's good for HW THs also.)

Well, I broke down and got Darrel Cartrip on EBAY. The price wasn't bad the shipping killed me. I also bought a case on ebay for about $60 including shipping which worked out to about 3.33 a car. Which also has Cartrip.

I appreciate all the help and resources provided!!!!!

I am pursuing and error on a Cartrip as well. Is it worth it??? I already bought one erro at the store.

As far as finding them.. try your local Wal-Mart near closing time if they close, or around 11pm to midnight if they don't. My local Wally World's overnight stocking team usually stocks them first thing.
