View Full Version : Time Dialation in Star Trek Old_McDonald 12-06-2007, 05:19 PM I made a reference to time dialation in another thread on this forum and it got me to thinking. Is there anything canon in the Star Trek world that can explain why there's no time-dialation effects when a ship travels up to the speed of light using impulse drive? We always here "full impulse" on the shows indicating light speed. Every ship that went close to the speed of light would be in a different time than everything else in the universe. Ten ships battling ten enemy would get 'lost in time' with each other.
