I recently bought an xbr setup and was bench testing it last night. I was using a 3300 stick pack with the corresponding tamiya plug. After using the one touch set up it worked fine for one trigger pull. On the second pull POOF! smoke came pouring out of the esc case and battery. After letting the battery stabilize, I tested it on my old brushed esc/motor and it worked great. Now I have a brand new brushless set up that does not work. I followed all the instructions to the letter and was wondering if there is anything I might have done wrong. Any Ideas? Also, I am not slamming Novak, so don't take this thread the wrong way. I am sure Novak will replace this under warranty as their customer service is top-notch.

Yokman, the motor and esc are factory wired together, and the only thing I did was plug in the battery.
