How do you guys do this equally on each side? I'm having trouble with my MF2 and need to start at zero again. Any help is appreciated....

There are complicated and expensive set up equipment to get it exact...
but most just do it by eye.
You can use a straight edge like a ruler layed next to the tire to get an exagerated view of the setting.

Here is how I do it.

Get 2 pieces of tubing that will tightly fit over the stub axles and get two pieces of tubing that will fit either inside or outside of the piece that fits the stub axle. The additional pieces will allow you to see the alignment much better.

Make sure your front end is tight and in good condition. If you do not, none of this will really matter.

Turn on your radio and set all of the steering settings/trims to center.

Center the servo and servo saver.

Put the pieces that fit over the stub axles on the stub axles, the slide the additional pieces in place. Now get to the side of the car and look down the rods. This will allow you to see what you need to adjust. You will not be able to see this very well up close, so be sure to get at least 2 feet away from the car, I get further. Once you so this you will see what I mean.

Good luck.

My take on it is:

Make sure the length of the toe adjustment links is the same on both sides. If necessary, take them off the truck to get them identical. Then put them on and always adjust them the same amount. If the truck doesn't go straight because of tolerances in the other parts giving more toe on one side than the other, I adjust the steering trim.
