This was pretty much a simple repaint. It's not that good right now, it was done to complete the existing season (3 more races) and will be redone in the off season.

Not meant to be any specific car but a representative of the cool bright red and white Penske cars of the past. After two events I'm holding onto 3rd place and pushing 2nd.

Another project well in the works is AJ Almendinger's #84 Red Bull NASCAR Toyota, which will be a converted SCX '07 Monte Carlo. Carrera has released their CoT's already, and after the first of the year I'll be building both his and Brian Vickers cars. I'll post pictures of the Camry sometime in the next day or so as it is also almost done.

I have been known to glance at the larger scale stuff, too, (but I can still see all the bits on the HO cars) and the detail drives me crazy! :thumbsup: yeah....one day.....

Great looking Indy you have there Pete. Not trying to take over your thread but since you have a RedBull avatar I thought you might like this. It is a Slot-it Porsche that I repainted with the RB livery. I also masked off the windows and headlights and painted the trim yellow. The driver suit is painted red and I did his helmet up like a RB can. Had a lot of fun with this one.

Looks great Sam! The current '07 Allmendinger car I'm doing is just blue. I have found some really nice blue and silver schemes on both AJ's and Brian Vickers car I may do on a CoT. And I may do an IRL in RB colors someday soon.

On the Honda the red is not the day-glo that the Penske cars normally are. Patto's decals only offer the straight Marlboro sheet and not the co-sponsored Penske-Marlboro logo's, so the car would have to be from the pre-ban on tobacco ad's era. Or, when they race internationally such as at Surfers Paradise. The next version will be better, I'll have a couple of weeks between events to let it all dry right.
