View Full Version : Cusotmer Service @ Horizon/Team Losi....worst experience

I don't know if you guys have had trouble with customer service from Horizon/Team Losi, but I sent back a couple of motors from an almost brand new starter box, losi 8 to be precise, this was back in july, the told me that it would be a month or so, cause there were on backorder, well it's december and still nothing, what kind of customer service is this??? You tell someone it will be a month or so, and 4 months later nothing??? how to you sell a product that has issues in first place, and then don't care of you customers??? I spoke with severral different hobby shop owners, racers, and everyone knew that the starter box motors had issues, but when I called Horizon, they acted like I was the first person returning these motors because they were defective....how's that for customer service!!!!!

If that is the worst of your problems your lucky. I can tell you storys that will make you cringe.You WILL NEVER buy/deal with any thing from Horizon Hobbies again.

well at this point I'm stuck with the starter box, can't sell it w/o the motors, I already bought a different starter box for my losi 8t, but that's not the point......

Even if they sell junk it is NEVER their fault,it is user error or they act like you don't know what the heck your talking about.

very true, I tried to get a hold of a supervisor or someone in charge, and nothing, they said that someone will call asap.....

how about this I sent in a jr servo and they sent it back and said it was user error and that I didn't set it up right so they refuse to replace it when they offer a 3 year warranty on there box

I can go on and on but I will just tell you the worst, I bought a spectrum modual and recievers for my 3PK. The first time I used it indoors I had my all aluminum T4 take off wide open into a wall. After winding up for almost 60 feet with a 8.5 brushless needless to say it was not pretty. Almost $200 in broken aluminum and titanium and a foam front tire broke the wheel. They did the same with me user error. I sent my system back 5 times. I finaly got it to work and sold it. I was so sick of it,I bought a Nomadio, another piece of junk.
