I bought these today at a local toyfair -$18 each mint sealed on good cards - I think they are wonderful , from the best years of my childhood and the focus of my Lesney collection-I like this artwork, and these blisters are hard to find these days. The guy selling had found these 2 plus an extra no 2 trailer in a small scale collection he bought, but no others

So I now have 8/75 of these cards -I dont ever expect to complete the set but who knows how many more will showup at an affordable price?????? Only time will tell

Here are the rest of my small scale new additions this week - the no 32 Aral and 3 of the Playarts came from on-line auctions, the rest from the event.I am pleased to add the army Mercedes 300 in excellent shape, the silver base variation of the Corsair , a metallic pink (VHTF color on any Playart) Mangusta, and a metallic wine colored Playart Opel Senator (HTF casting in any color). The orange no 8 Mustang and yellow Marzal are both playworn and poorer shape than my existing examples but for the same price as a new mainline HW I couldnt leave them for kids!

Wow SM, the 1/64th scale gods were smiling down on you today - good for you!!!
Now the #46 Staff Car - is it a htfinder?

In the "ones you've found before today" department, I'm a big fan of the #45 Ford group 6. I've got a green one with un-chromed wheels. Do you know if it's from a gift pac? I bet we could have an interesting thread on the Group 6 as I think there are a vast number of variations.

Eight of 75. That's quite a long road to travel!

Congrats on your acquisitions. The cards are in excellent shape!

Somewhere my dad has a couple hundred early blisterpacks.. but I don't think they were of that style. If I remember right, his are all from '72-73. He bought out some guys collection a long time ago.. around 1988.. and sold off all of the boxed stock, nobody wanted blisterpack stuff at that time.

Everybody has boxes now, so there is interst in rare blisters - it depends on which cards. These blue blisters here a copyright 1969 for 1970 production. Then there is white ´trade in your old wheels for 10c´ 1971 blisters which are very desirable, as are the red border blisters with 5 different designs used for 1971 and 1972 normal issues which fetch as much as a boxed issue.
Its the 1973 on blisters that nobody pays more than the value of the car mint inside. But even your father´s later blisters may contain rare variatiations like chrome handlebar Choppers!

The Mercedes staffcar is a twin pack issue that was harder for me to find than any other standard military twin pack issue, but they did make a lot of them 1975-79.
If your Ford with black wheels is sealed in the blister its a genuine factory error but if its loose then it could just be a car that has had the chrome off the wheels through handling.Folks often dont value negative variations like missing chrome because they are easy to make at home! But share a photo and start the Ford Group 6 thread that you would like to see
I feel lucky to have these 8 , early blisters are hard to find in any shape.

very nice group of blistered models  and as markkaz said nice journey to the complete 75. :) #23 camper, flap ;) ;)

i don’t remember the exact way but i believe the # 38 army jeep came blistered with chrome hubcaps and boxed with black hub caps or the other way around. the #38 jeep is fun one to collect.

i really like the late 70’s to early 80’s picture boxes and some of the later special sf blisters were nice.

a 45 group six thread would be fun :)
