Website changes and QSAC information

Hello everyone.


The QSAC website has been updated with all the NCS information, 2008 Rules, and the entire Form Center documentation for 2008. I have added a button on the primary webpage for the calendar. I plan on updating all the webpages to make the buttons appear the same for each. It's a work in progress.

Everyone may want to check out the homepage again. There is clarification on the issue with the carb blocks for next year.

I fixed many (Not all) of the links that would go nowhere and made it so the menues are all the same from page to page. If there are links that are wrong or un-needed, please let me know. I'm going to work on a few other things.

Just wondering if QSAC gets any royalties from the joker on ebay selling "the real QSAC racing" videos? The pathetic display of tasteless pics more than likely hurts 1/4 scale than it helps. I like looking at women...don't get me wrong, but that is not family oriented advertising in my opinion.

I'm hoping I'm just overlooking this and if anyone could point me to where I can join online. I would hope they are not still using the old way of making out a check and mailing it in with the new technology of the internet we have today. Anyhow you all have a Happy New Year and see you guys next season at some point.

You also have the option to join at the track. You can also hand your money and info sheet to any QSAC official and they will send it on.
I am not saying that to be able to join on line would be great but the old fashion way does work very well. Remember that our secretary is a volunteer and she (Doreen Brown) does one great job for QSAC.

Added J and M Hobbies to the scroller and made it scroll faster. It stops for a beat more too... I still hate it and I am looking into other methods to deliver this type of advertisement... Something with more user control...

The scrolling advertisement is a nice touch but it takes so long to get to the partner one could be searching for. Maybe a drop down window for the partners would be quicker? Or possibly a list on the sidebar in smaller fonts such as Hank has here on HT? Just suggesting.

Check out the QSAC site. I've added video to the site with a YouTube acount in QSAC's name. You can go to the QSAC site and play the video with the site, and you can also go to YouTube and find the videos there. If anyone would like to add thier video to this site, please send it my way and I'l get-er-done...

The QSAC website is experiencing some issues. Not sure if the server is dead or if the hosting site did not renew the hostname or what. I am on the phone with tech support to get it figured out ASAP.

The QSAC website will be down for about 3 days due to several things. Part of the issue is a migration of data to a new system. I will try to keep everyone informed, but please be asured that the website will be back up ASAP.

The website is going through some changes that are ocuring in the background.
Six days ago the registered name "qsac.org" expired. This was something that was set into motion more than 5 years ago. Unfortunatly for me, I have been going through some serious red tape to rectify this perminently. QSAC and I appreciate your patients in this matter.

In addition, there are some other things with the hosting site, happening in the background that will make the site more secure and function better (faster). I can't say that there will not be another interuption in service in the coming week or so, but I will try to make it as painless as possible.

Again, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Hello everyone. I've made some more changes to the website, (I hope for the better.)

I've replaced the scroller that was there with one that the users can control a bit. You can use an automatic or manual transmission...lol

Also added a Manufactures News and Updates scroller to the right side. This will be used for special announcements other than the typical news that will be added below.

We have a few new QSAC partners. Willmann Racing Products and J & M Hobbies. These folks are what make 1/4 scale racing possible, so please take a look at the ad's and new additions to the QSAC website.
