Useing the same "secret code" LOL - the Red Alfa Romeo, #32, the licence plate reads :

715 1L61 is that 'GAE ALFA'

me thinks somebody at MB doesn't like ALFAS - LOL

What the...?! How about this instead: there's a shamrock on the car. It could stand for GAELIC (ie, IRISH) Alfa. :wave:

The shamrock as you say is actually a cloverleaf, or as Alfa Romeo say "quadrifoglio" - Italian for cloverleaf. It has been applied to all Alfa Romeo top end versions since 1923 and is a significant Alfa Romeo symbol.
