Indigo Blu
Yup, very easy. What about "85R9T175" from the Superfast Jaguar E-Type?
NDGO 2LU - Could also be "Need go to loo." (British slang for toilet). A warped mind such as mine finds the possibility funny...

What the...?! How about this instead: there's a shamrock on the car. It could stand for GAELIC (ie, IRISH) Alfa.

The shamrock as you say is actually a cloverleaf, or as Alfa Romeo say "quadrifoglio" - Italian for cloverleaf. It has been applied to all Alfa Romeo top end versions since 1923 and is a significant Alfa Romeo symbol.
:) :D :p
