this is the 1996 racing champs 1/144th scale 1st production set of this scale. also of course the first edition. consists of only 12 cars. gordon, both waltrips, scooby doo, rusty wallace, bobby labonte, bill elliott, dale jarrett, sterling marlin, ernie ervin, mark martin, joe nemecek.
there were only 8000, of these first production sets made. it has on the card "first production" in yellow letters. they were only available at walmart and for a short time. these are gem mint and some were never punched out for the peg.
