I recently bought a lot of cars that had this 1 car that I wanted really bad. I have an big desire for GTP stuff and this lot of cars had 2 gtp cars and some other stuff. So I won the auction. I was really thrilled and I've already raced the snot out of the one car I was drooling over. :) So in the auction there were some other cars came in as well that I either had or had no desire for. 1 of the things that came in was a Tomy Turbo chassis. Runs like a champ. I tried to put this into a couple of various bodies only to find out that this was one of the chassis that belongs in an F1 top and as such you can't move the wheels to a closer position. There's only 1 slot in for the front wheels. I've done this in the past with some old messed up AFX stuff and it worked like a champ. I'm going to take a drill bit and drill another set of holes in the correct place so I can change the position of the front wheels and the car can then fit into a different body. Right now I don't have another F1 top to put this chassis in anyways. So I figured I'd do some minor mod's of my own. Not a big start to modding cars but it's a start nonetheless.

Mike,

What's the deal there is it a freeforall concerning bidding or does everyone here try to respect each other when it comes to the bay? I have know idea to be honest. I've met a handful of people that are into slot cars to be honest. All of them have been pretty decent and the more I read on this forum the more I'm coming to respect most everyone here's opinions on various slot car subjects. I claim that I probably know the absolute least about slot cars on this forum. I do have some knowledge but the things I read from others on this forum amazes me sometimes. You have those funjets... those are just wicked looking. Can't wait to get that one that you and I worked out. :)
