Building a new nitro boat and was wondering if anyone knows where they race them here?

I know that they used to race boats at Brahn Springs Park in Huntsville.

Come to think if it, that is what got me into R/C. I could hear them from my apartment and went to see what was making all that noise. Asked where they got them and they directed my to R/C's in Huntsville. The rest is history.

Scott we used to have a lake here in greenville that we raced boats in. I ran .60 and .80 mono. I miss the boat racing days.

Never did the boats. I did not have a way to retrieve a dead one. So I got into cars instead.

Look at us now!

You can check the IMPBA website at www.impba.net or the forum site mentioned above at www.intlwaters.com .
Huntsville holds 2 record trials events a year but I don't know if they use that site for races.
