TheDarkCutlass 11-28-2007, 05:23 PM good luck, must import series around here don't last that long...
granted the 3000GT is a nice car, my brother's boss has a VR4 just sitting in the back of his shop rusting away.
68SUPERBEE440-6 11-28-2007, 06:22 PM is he selling it if he is let me know how much what year and
and get back too me on it i will give you my email address
ok thanks for the info
big ups
FastC6Vette 11-28-2007, 07:48 PM Since you asked about a GT, my dad has a MINT 1991 3000GT VR4 with just under 50,000 miles (first year for the 3000GT as well). It is not your usual beat-on, high mileage GT with dents, scratches, and who knows what else. He will be putting up for sale in the spring, but email me if interested at all.
However, it is NOT cheap.
ranchero 11-28-2007, 11:02 PM Greenlight is a company which has done models of Mustangs, Impalas, Chryslers, Pontiac GTOs, Oldsmobiles, Corvettes, Indy cars, Plymouth Road Runners, Camaros, Challengers, Coronets and even a Lincoln Navigator. Those are American cars for Americans. I think maybe Jada makes models of those Japanese import cars; try them. I certainly don't care about models of such cars and a company based in Indiana and selling models of American cars is not likely to care much about such cars either. - ranchero -

Whereas one in Illinois would...right.
What sort of person gets offended because someone wants die-cast of foriegn cars?
I love Greenlights, it's be sweet if they did some imports. Not those silly riced out atrocities though...BMWs, Minis, Lamborghinis, some select Hondas, Nissans, ect. However, if their whole deal is to exclusively focus on domestics, that's cool too. I say you can't have too much of either.
ranchero 11-28-2007, 11:27 PM jedimario - Hey, I'm not offended. I am simply telling the guy to look at their previous releases and, based on the company's location and interest, not expect to see any Japan import models. I like the Greenlight focus - American cars for Americans.
Now a die cast model marketer based in California might be expected to have more exposure to and interest in selling models of Japan import cars. That would be Jada or Mattel I'd think. A company from Indiana, or Illinois, or Iowa that has released, as Greenlight has, all American cars should not be reasonably expected to answer this guy's plea for models of Japan import cars.
No, I don't like those Japan cars, have no interest in them and want no models of them either. But I am not offended by his plea for such. That is the beauty of capitalism and the free market - if there is a market for models of such cars some company will supply them. I simply do not believe that it is likely that Greenlight will address that market.

Okay the extra bs about japan cars dont get it twisted up
like a gas cap on a 67 gtx I love muscle cars always more
than imports and I think you dont have go there all I ask for them
to think on it not demanding them to jump boards too do it
are you a hater I love all cars Im not preduice on imports
I like my collection to be international and I have freedom
to ask the people at greenlights not you so who cares if
you dont like imports ok the gto3000 is one of my favorites
and I bet you it will kill your american muscle it's been proven
so I like it and I'm not changing my opinion so what
it's not what you ask for plus jada and hotwheels at the
time are not thinking and so do others companys here and
abroad are not thinking so I have the right to ask
greenlight not you or anybody in this board room
you need check out my thread on the 20 cars that i like
greenlight too do you will understand i'm not going
ask the same questions over twice
I ask for 67 mustang coupe and it's due in january
so i pressing my luck for gt3000 not to say
if it happens or not it's the thought that counts...
the bottom line is I ask greenlights my bad it strikes
a nerve in some of you's but all I want to share
my ideas ok you kill my joy are you happy
why you guys cant be happy 20 years ago
you would not have jack s*@+ to ask they
did not have a hobbytalk you complain about
the wheels to big you complain complain and
complain big babys I just root for other guys
that love car collecting not being preduice
over every thing that not good if it's not broken
dont try fix it and at the sametime
you cant fix on what's have been broken :(

I was trying to say that location doesn't really matter. RC2 is based in Illinois, and they make plenty of imports.
An his plea not being heard probably has more to do with him being one random guy on one random board on the Internet than what hes pleaing for.
Now if alot f random people on alot of random boards started talking...it'd be diferent.
68SUPERBEE440-6 11-29-2007, 01:55 PM Thank You So Much
Have A Gooday
jedimario 12-12-2007, 06:41 PM Well, I clicked over the GL's website this evening, and low and behold, it appears that GL is, unless I'm blind as a bat and missing something here, making imports (http://www.greenlightcollectibles.com/wheretobuy_massretail?q=products&page=viewcat&catid=1&scaleid=4).
