VERY creepy! I wouldn't want to run into him in a dark alley - or... for that matter, anywhere in broad daylight, either!

This bodes well for the new film.

If we are to reimagine comic characters as true to life possibilities, then this is very good.

I prefer Tim Burton's take on Batman's world, since I can't wrap my brain around super villian's and hero's with masks, tights, and secret identities in real world terms.

Burton's take was one way to go and it worked pretty well but it also set the template for the ever-increasing cartoonishness that culminated with Batman & Robin - which effectively killed the franchise. I watched the '89 Batman again recently and I have to say, it compares poorly to Batman Begins for me. I really appreciate the heightened reality the new franchise is taking and think it is absolutely the right way to go.

Don't know. In this picture the Joker seems too cartoony to me...

"Ah. Well... I attended Juilliard... I'm a graduate of the Harvard business school. I travel quite extensively. I lived through the Black Plague and had a pretty good time during that. I've seen the EXORCIST ABOUT A HUNDRED AND SIXTY-SEVEN TIMES, AND IT KEEPS GETTING FUNNIER EVERY SINGLE TIME I SEE IT... NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT YOU'RE TALKING TO A DEAD GUY... NOW WHAT DO YOU THINK? You think I'm qualified?"
