Hi everyone,
I thought you might be intereted in my next Mail-in Race as it is almost a wide open class.
It will be held in March 8th thru 15th 2008 It will be Daytona/Sebring class cars i.e. any car that Ran at 24hrs of
Daytona or 12 hrs of Sebring. The Race will be four 3 min heats for a total of 12 Min i.e. 12 hrs What will be
different is I will not re-run any cars, I will hit the stop button for each deslot however there will be 0 delay set on the TrackMate.
Concourse d' Elegance for best looking car.
Special prize to highest finishing entry with injected molded rims i.e. Vincent, RRR 3R or any other readily available wheels.
This gives you plenty of timer to start modeling and tinkering.
1. Cars must be modeled after an actual cars that ran at the 24 hours of Daytona or 12 Hours of Sebring. Must have numbers can be a fantasy car however it must be based on actual car that ran.
2. Any Body must fit through a 1 1/8th Tech Block. Body may not be made of magnetic material. Open Cockpit cars must have Driver
3. Chassis any Only modification not allowed is you may not add traction magnets or cut the chassis to make it a MT/XT i.e. expose the motor agnets on the bottom anything else goes. Older can motors like TYCO Pro, ATlAS, Elden, Riggens etc may have the bottom exposed to the track.
4. Wheels Tires axels any, however Tires must be black. Also max width is 1 1/8th
5. Motor magnets any CERAMIC
6. Motors any you want to try
7. Motor Brushes any you want to try
8.Guide Pin any - NO REAR Guide Pin Allowed.
9. Pickups - any
