Has anyone had a problem with excessive delay on heads up start with brushless escs?
I have heard of a couple that did not go at all when full throttle was pulled off the line.
Thanks

..generally I've only seen that with NON-SENSORED type esc's.... They sometimes need a PUSH.

We had one guy who's car always wanted to go backwards...

Make sure it's not in lipo mode. My LRP was doing that. I forgot to change it back to NIHM.

IT is a lrp tc. It's new and I did not check default to see if it was lipo or nihm

set the throttle profile #8 and you won't have a delay.

Frozen motors may delay.

Roman P. was on the pole this weekend at the FCC in 10.5 and he did not move on the line... also happened to one of our locals David Butts in the main of 13.5. Not sure what happened. Romans started working right away after being picked up (switch was not off).

well here is a twist to this

Roman P was running a LRP and a 10.5 and Dave Butts was running a original GTB and a 13.5 and neither were cooling the motors.

I would make sure you have the spektrum voltage cap that plugs into the receiver. I know when i was having problems with my LRP doing that off the line a year or so ago that fixed it. Never had my GTB do it though. Just an idea.

I didnt see the begining of the 10.5 main, Butt in the 13.5 A-main we had a really really long wait after we grided our cars, I,m wondering if that may have had something to do with Mr. Butts no start?
It was a shame Daves always Fun to race with.

it was a little bit till we started but i pulled up about a foot 30 sec befor the start and it was fine but when the horn blew it didnt go. to make things worse the person who started 3rd and punted me was my ride home LOL 9 hours. Paul Lemieux said his used to do that in touring car and he would replace the little wiring harness that plugs into the speed controll??????
