What should I be doing to my Nimh and Lipo packs to keep them in good condition? I wonder if I'm doing enough.... Thanks

I am not shure on lipos but for NIMH batteries you should be doing the following.
(for more info go to TQcells.com)
Be shure to discharge after each run
For me the more runs that are in them the better the pack gets
Be shure to discharge to .90 volts
Peak charge your batteries at 6amps (I found that to be the best point to charge them at)
A good charger like a Turbo 35 or ICE and a Desent power supply really helps.
You dont have to have a advanced discharger the light bulb set up will work.
For more info you can also check out the rctvlive.com video on battery care.

For me w/ NIMH's heres what I do and is what TQ CELLS suggests:
- Discharge Pack to equalize pack (I use a integy zero-thirty) till lights are out
- Charge Pack and run
- Discharge Pack down to 3.60 volts (I Use a Turbo35) and let cool
- after cool down or next day Discharge and equalize till lights are out
- Put 600-700 secs of charge back in pack.
hope this helps

For Two years now I have figured out how to maintain my NIMH batterys.
It is quite simple, throw them in the trash and use your LIPO.You have to do nothing after running a race unless it is going to set for a long time(month). Then all you need to do is charge it and let it set. I guess I just don't like buying batterys year after year after year. I have 2 LIPO's that are 2 years old with NO performance loss. I have 2 chargers and 3 batterys I can charge Faster than I can run them down.
