About a week back, a buddy had called me to give me a heads up. Not all of the toys are pictured, there were even tiny solid (lead?) cars in the batch...from rubber Auburn - late 40s toys, a couple of mint Superheros Corgi cases, Midgetoys, JAPAN marked toys, Spot-on (Tri-ang), micro machines - Winner Diecast ? A ole GI Joe Motorcycle - about 60 pieces in total...here are a few...

I sure don't recall the Lesney GT with full stripes and no # on the front deck - any help on recalling my memory,

Very nice bunch of unusual toys. That Spot On army Bedford field kitchen is a very rare desirable peice in any condition -I have the easier to find icecream issue of that casting. Those Ford GT decals could well be after market home additions, especially if you can see the shadow of the original lesney decal on the hood underneath. There is always the possibility that you have a pre-pro sales sample issued to a 1960s toy wholesaler - if so there should be no shadow of a Lesney decal on the hood and it would be an early casting without the front numberplate on the lower front body or the tow slot on the front of the baseplate.A small collection of such variety does indeed present the possibility of its original owner being a toy importer/wholesaler
Nice pix of a great find

Philippe, Thank you for the Mustang information.
Mick, Thank you for the information on the Field Kitchen, I have never seen the example at all in my years. I bought it for a whopping .25 cents !! The lot, including many I did not post pictures was a huge 15.00 US - I am buried in work for the week, but I will do some better pictures this weekend...The Lesney GT is the version with no Tow Slot on the base and a glossy black finish, and it does have me stumped, I have compared it to my other examples and I am pretty sure the stripes are factory - Ill get some better pictures up on Saturday.
