Just curious does your track (let us know if you are an indoor or outdoor track) allow the use of Lipo batteries? Thanks

Lipos were allowed on our track for touring class during the summers and we are starting 21.5/lipo oval class. Our track is an outdoor asphalt.

Yes, they have been running them in the 18th scale class and a few of us are starting to run them in 10th scale. hopefully we'll get enough to make a 21.5 class but right now we have been mixing them in the current 10.5 and 13.5 class.

We have been running lipo 17.5 with the 10.5 4 cell at the HobbyPlex in Omaha, NE and at the SpeedZone in South Sioux City, NE. Now that the 21.5 motor is available I would expect to see some lipo there running with the 13.5 4cell as well. So far it seems to be working out pretty well. I think once racers start running lipo the popularity will grow. We had a wc cell explode at the SpeedZone today which is one more reason to consider lipo.
