saiyagohan 11-25-2007, 12:20 AM Well I just finished watching RAZOR and it was well written. During the last 5 minutes of the movie, they showed a preview of season 4. It is set for launch March 2008. The countdown begins......... http://209.85.12.231/658/147/emo/smi_shiney.PNG
John P 11-25-2007, 10:19 AM I hate these long between-season waits for shgort seasons these days.
Eric K 11-25-2007, 10:31 AM It's gonna be longer all the way around with the strike.
Xenon 11-25-2007, 10:48 AM Since moving out to Serbia, I've missed all of season 3 :( Guess I'll just have to order the DVDs. Sigh ...

SO SAY WE ALL!!
Opus Penguin 11-25-2007, 11:51 AM The show should premiere in March or April since they already have ten episodes done before the strike happened. The question is will the season be completed? There is doubt depending on how long the strike continues (last one, which happened during TNG's second season I believe lasted 22 weeks). Read this artcile and you will see why the entire season is still up in the air:

Which is why I've pretty much stopped watching BSG. And Eureka for that matter. Skiffies too screwed up, when I can watch "new episodes of wrastlin, but have to wait months and months for new sci fi on sci fi...
I watched Razor, it was good. I was nice to see some new BSG on the tele.

Qualilty takes some extra time, IMHO. I've always thought one two hour episode a month would make for a really cool way to do a series--perhaps start on DVD, then a pay channel, and then go to regular TV.
Any word on when Sci-Fi and other cable channels are going to HD?

That could work. At this point, I'm just waiting for the DVD releases of the seasons I missed. Might as well add them to the collection.
Far as HD goes, not sure. I know Disc. TLC, Animal Planet, NatGeo are all available in HD. I'm not sure if or when SciFi is going HD.

One of our HD channels, UNIHD, frequently shows episodes of Firefly, Surface, and BSG TNS, usually on the weekends or late at night.

I do catch those BSGs even if they are repeats--it's great to see the special effects in HD. I'd just like to see the original broadcasts in HD.
MartinHatfield 11-26-2007, 05:40 PM The Sci-fi channel is scheduled to start up HD broadcasting in December. However, a friend of mine at BestBuy said that Comcast is not adopting the sci-fi HD until next year. of course this may only be for my region. I will investigate further.
veedubb67 11-26-2007, 07:11 PM DirectTV already has Sci-Fi Channel in HD. Razor was breathtaking in HD!

Wow, I bet you could really see all the detail on that huge mole on the admirals chin!!! Sorry..but that thing has freaked me out since she was 'Ensign Ro".
Zombie_61 11-27-2007, 03:05 AM Last I read, Season 4 won't start until April and, depending upon the writer's strike (or, at least, that's their latest excuse), the second half of Season 4 may not start until 2009. :freak:
PerfesserCoffee 11-27-2007, 06:36 AM :woohoo:
Great to hear!
El Gato 11-27-2007, 07:49 PM Regardless, it'll be a wait. If anything, Razor drove the point home that I miss this show.
