Hey guys. I think this year I am going to make the switch to lipoly batterys but I am unsure about what charger I want to get. I was looking into the orion avionics. and it still looks like a good choice. but then I started looking at some of the balancer chargers such as the scorpion or one of the models offered by venom. Can any of you give me any recommendations? also Keep in mind I am on a bit of a budget. I want to stay under 80 dollars. so any information you can give me is much appreciated.

THANKS GUYS
Sean Scott

Sean- I have the BalancePro HD (http://www.fmadirect.com/detail.htm?item=2044&section=38) and the Cellpro (http://www.fmadirect.com/products.htm?cat=45&nid=4) from FMA. The Scorpion is basicly a 2 cell only BalancePro. I like both of them. Not a moments problem. Customer service seems good. They are answer questions fast by email and of course, you can call them. I really like the FREE viewing software so you can see what the pack is dong. You can use it to fine tune the charge rate. And hey, it can't hurt to balance your pack.

The venom (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXMYR6&P=FR) only charge's at 1.5 amps. That is way too slow to charge a 3200 mha.
