How long should you wait if someone said they would take what you had to sell? If they were paying by paypal? How about money order how long should you wait to offer it to someone else? Any thoughts would be helpful.

Depends...........if they won't respond to any emails asking what the holdup is on payment (Paypal), I'd offer it to someone else immediately. Payment with MO I'd give it 7 days, no payment I'd email them and ask about the holdup, no response.......offer it to someone else.

I would give A MONEY ORDER at least 14 days, I had sold an item on Ebay and the post office lost the money order. 11 days after he sent it I got it in the mail. It was postmarked the day he sent it. On the 10th day I left him bad feed back then I had to put a comment about why I changed his feedback. pay pal 24 hours.

OK the person said he would take what I was selling and asked for my pay pal addy. I gave him my pay pal info and it has been 3 days and no payment as of yet. I guess I will offer it to the next person in line.

Sale it to the next person I don't wait much more than 2 hours and it

usually unless the buyer ives some odd reason why..WIth paypal I give them a day.....Mainly because if someone was at work or somewhere unsecure where they would not want to log onto paypal then I give them a day to find a secure place..


Ive waited longer but that was usually due to unusual circumsances...Like one time I had a guy who was in the millitary buy something from me.. He waited like 4 days to pay***told me up front*** because he was on a tour and going to be off in 4 days... He wasnt cmfortable trying to use paypal from a boat...which I understood and agreed to wait the time...

MO I havent used one in a lonnnnngg time...But I usually wait 2 weeks...
