I'm thinking about building an el-cheapo paint booth - I've had a look on the web for some general ideas, but was wondering if anyone here has one or has built one, and if they could post a pic so I can get some ideas; I think I've got a rough plan in mind, but any tips or tricks or pics may help!
Cheers

That's pretty much what I did. Tape some 1" strips of newspaper inside the top and let them hang down to trap the paint solids, no sense painting your siding outside the window, and add a Scotch-brite pad over the fans as a secondary catch to preserve the fans. Use a hobby knife to poke some "X"s in the top to stick your paint sticks for drying and you're done for about $15 in parts.

Make sure you use brushless fans.

I did similar, I covered the fan with a filter so it doesn't just blow paint out the back end, works pretty well. I just bought a bathroom fan, they're cheap and you can just plug them right in, works great.

I used to use coffee maker filters in front of the fan. Wife was always wondering why we went through the filters so fast in the winter time. :p
