I haven't used a 'trickle charge' feature on a charger for a really long time, but with the self discharge rate on NiMh batteries...would there be any benefit to turning the trickle back on so the pack doesn't discharge after peak?

Anyone try this?

I have, sort of by accident. Somehow I turned the trickle function on with my ICE charger. I can't imagine any harm done because the trickle rate is very low current.
I'm not sure I benefited in any way really. I usually re-peak just before I race anyway.
