Do you actually mean that you didnt buy even 1 new car???
That is temptation I would find hard to resist unless the prices were too high or I couldnt find anything my collection needed.....
cih1979 11-24-2007, 08:08 PM i bought 1 car, from the guys set up behind my table, it was a HW collector number 88? i think the t bird stocker that was painted up to look like davey allisons nascar. i gave em 3 bucks for it, had no idea it was actually kind of rare ! ;)
JasonZ 11-24-2007, 08:21 PM PS, you want anything for the Celica hunt?
Lummox 11-24-2007, 08:36 PM Does anyone know who makes that red Ferrari in the top pic? I'd love to find one of them.
I don't know how you resisted some of those regardless of the wife! ;)

Dave,
That'd be Ferrari 250LM Berlinetta by Corgi. Here are a few on the E_Bay for reference:

The Moutain 11-26-2007, 10:44 PM very cool
wouldn’t it be nice to have to have a no spending limit at toy shows?

I tried something like that when I started to go to toyfairs in 1999 & 2000, taking GB£250/$500 along which did take me 5 hours to spend because there was sooo much to choose from at the big London toyfair at Picketts Lock (event ended when building demolished for London Olympics  )
