MattGTO 11-20-2007, 08:54 PM How much did these sell for back in the day? Great piece!!! JasonZ 11-20-2007, 09:08 PM How many cars can you carry on one? Lummox 11-20-2007, 11:12 PM They held 6 cars. Quite the piece with it's gray tires and all - has to be about the first version. I have the last version - a Superfast. Great looking box too! JasonZ 11-20-2007, 11:42 PM They held 6 cars. Quite the piece with it's gray tires and all - has to be about the first version. I have the last version - a Superfast. Great looking box too! Musta have been huge. Did the superfast still hold 6 cars? SMS88 11-21-2007, 12:32 PM They held 6 cars. Quite the piece with it's gray tires and all - has to be about the first version. I have the last version - a Superfast. Great looking box too! It tough to find six different regular wheels to load on this at the same time, most usually it was 2 on each deck although a Ford Prefect, a 70 Ford Thames and a Morris Minor can fit up top together,I cannot find 3 that fit on the bottom deck. The Superfast DAF is a bit larger and can carry 3 average Superfast up top, with 2 down below MattGTO 11-21-2007, 01:49 PM How heavy is it? JasonZ 11-21-2007, 04:13 PM How heavy is it? Okay..... I bet its like 1/2 pound Lummox 11-21-2007, 05:12 PM It tough to find six different regular wheels to load on this at the same time, most usually it was 2 on each deck although a Ford Prefect, a 70 Ford Thames and a Morris Minor can fit up top together,I cannot find 3 that fit on the bottom deck. The Superfast DAF is a bit larger and can carry 3 average Superfast up top, with 2 down below Yup, your're totally right, I wasn't thinking straight! JasonZ 11-21-2007, 05:13 PM When was this a Superfast?? Last year~?? MattGTO 11-21-2007, 11:12 PM When was this a Superfast?? Last year~?? A superfast is like a Black Wall for Hot Wheels :p JasonZ 11-21-2007, 11:13 PM A superfast is like a Black Wall for Hot Wheels :p I mean when was the last superfast version of this made, not the one in the pic MattGTO 11-21-2007, 11:57 PM I know, he meant the vintage superfasts JasonZ 11-22-2007, 12:02 AM Oh... Yeah it is.. SMS88 11-22-2007, 04:20 AM http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e113/SMS369/IM000491.jpg This shows the squeeze to get 3 short cars on the top deck. Us children of the 1970s paid more for our toys than today in purchasing power terms, but we could choose from Lesney,Hotwheeeels,Corgi Juniors or Playart, all having top quality cars slythorne 11-22-2007, 05:36 AM I have had a couple of these.. they are hard to find still with their tires.. impossible to find with the box! Very nice. johnsreflex 11-22-2007, 09:12 AM When maintained the old gray wheels seem pretty solid. That is a nice piece. Thanks for sharing. karl-e 11-22-2007, 11:23 AM Here is one of mine :) This colour combination is rather HTF. http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j216/karl-e/IMAGE003-9.jpg And my Traktortransporter: http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j216/karl-e/IMAGE007-6.jpg And some some older stuff: http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j216/karl-e/A2transporters.jpg Karl-E.
