The unit also have adjustible temp. This is great for saving the tip and preventing a bad solder job with too hot of an iron that burns the flux and the solder. Another great feature is the stainless steel tips, they last about 100X long than the normal copper tips that need tinned. When you order get the right tips. I use: 900M T4C and 900M S3. The TC4 tip is a 45 degree bevel tip great for getting your iron out of the way of melting things on your car.. The S3 tip is a 5.2mm chisel tip that provides lots of surface area to melt solder. t4mania 11-20-2007, 04:25 AM Ditto what trailranger said! CDW35 11-20-2007, 04:30 AM The Hakko is the way to go! KenBajdek 11-20-2007, 02:54 PM Hako is the only choice. 5.2 m tip too!!! vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
