Hey guys, those of you that Know me Know that i have owned my own landscape business for about the last 5 years.I have owned this truck for 3 years now and its been a nice little dump truck. It is a work truck , so its not perfect as far as having a couple dents and dings. It does run great though and the dump box is only 3 years old.The dump box is a Bri-mar hydraulic lift that I had a local weld shop attach to the truck so it is not a slip-in, it is permanantly attached, and has poly slide plates installed in the dump box.It is a small dump box, it holds about 2 yds of top soil, and has a dump capacity of 5800 lbs(almost 3 tons). The truck is a 96' 2wd auto matic with the turbo-deisel under the hood, has just 120,000 k on it. has had the oil changed regularly, has load rated turf tires on it for as little lawn damage as posible,Has the 8 lug HD rear end in it with extra leaves added to the spring packs for hauling the extra weight, also has a reese hitch installed(no receivers or balls though),and has been a VERY dependable little truck. I have had to close down my landscape business due to our economy in Michigan, so I am selling this guy CHEAP!!3 years ago it cost me almost 10k to set this truck up(6000 for the truck and 3000 for the dump box+ plus 900 to have the conversion done by the weld shop.) the only flaw with it mechanically is that the 2nd stage of the dump need new links which can be bought through Bri-mars web site or one of their dealers or you can have someone fabricate a set that's more heavy duty than the stock ones. One of the 2 links stretched and broke on me. i have had it quoted at 350.00 to fab some out of 1/2" plate to beef it up.The truck itself needs 2 things a hinge pin set for the drivers door as the stock upper hinge is sloppy, and the windsheild has a crack , which is not in the drivers feild of vision it is right down the center in line with the rearveiw mirror, because a loader operator lost a couple 1-2" stones loading me last fall and cracked the windsheild. This would be a nice little dump for a landscaper, roofer, someone running a garbage route or dirt track owner that needs to haul some soil around. The tilt on the box is at 3/4 capacity until the 2nd stage links are fixed, but it lifts high enough to dump soil that is not super wet withouit fixing them. I usually hauled decorative stone with it which dumps super easy so I just didnt get it fixed because it didnt really effect what I was using it for.I am asking $2000.00 or best offer, which is a steal because the box as it sits could be removed and sold for at least 1500 leaving a truck with a deisel engine worth over 1000 just for the used deisel. Trades would be considered depending on what the trade is for, I already have more vehicles (cars and trucks) so I would be willing to trade for a bunch of r/c stuff depending on what it is. PM me with your e-mail address for pics or to come look at it in person. Thanks chad Sulski.
