You modify the top (plastic) part to fit your needs. Works well and is compact. Can be purchased at Lowes and Home Depot for about $20 KevinBahr 11-19-2007, 08:54 AM I have one of those stands and would sell it to anyone that would like to buy it for $25 plus shipping. Just let me know. Kevin PS> I can supply pics also of it to anyone that would like Randy Baker 11-20-2007, 05:24 AM I got mine at Home Depot , it was around $20 If I remember wright . Randy IN2RACIN 11-20-2007, 03:59 PM Are these stands adjustable (up & down)? Randy Baker 11-20-2007, 06:17 PM Are these stands adjustable (up & down)? Yes Scott they are . If you get one I would recommend fashioning a different upper tray to hold the car though . The original set up is made to pivot or float when wood is slid along it . I finally got fed up with trying to keep it tight and that's gonna be a winter project , make a tray to fit the car frame . Randy KevinBahr 11-20-2007, 07:08 PM Scott, They are adjustable from 24" high to around 56" inches high, give or take a few. What I did with mine is that I took some PVC piping that alot of guys us to elevate their wheels off the table and mounted it on top of the stand. The frame for the GN car I used to have fit right into between the joints of the piping. Kevin KevinBahr 11-21-2007, 07:22 PM Here is the stand that I used to use when I raced. I am willing to sell this to anyone that wants it for $20 plus shipping. Just let me know.
