I am looking at brushless speedo's and noticed novak makes one for 2.4 specktrum or std crystals and LRP only makes one for either? has anyone had any issues with the LRP and 2.4 spectrum systems?

I've used the LRP with a Spektrum for over a year. Other that the issues that the LRP itself has, it has worked fine.

I have also used a NOVAK ESC (not DSM version) with flawless results.

Both LRP and NOVAK work pretty well. NOVAK's customer service is second to none, if you were to have an issue with a NOVAK ESC.
LRP customer service, in my opinion and personal experience, is unsatisfactory.

I don't use the 2.4 spectrum style NOVAK w/ my spektrum system...I have 3 of the original GTB's.

I also have a LRP (06 I believe), and it works great too.

The setups are a little different, but I've been more than happy with both units.

I run a lot of different cars from race to race, depending on the track... Both the GTB's and the LRP gets bounced from car to car quite a bit...w/o any problems or concerns.
