These are new in my collection. I don't like recent BMW designs, but some of their past cars were truly beautiful. I think this one was among first Kyosho series (maybe I'm wrong), but they are very well made and the details are great. Especially 2002 Turbo is a marvel, at least IMO. Paint is smooth, tampos very well aligned, detailed two-color wheels and a lot of small details to admire.

M3 requires some black wash in wheels, as now they look somehow too flat.
Has anyone tried to do this? I was thinking of using water-based black paint and very thin brush.

Nice BMW's Superbird77!

Saying Jason owned this forum is putting it mildly.

I wonder what he will do if the 20 limit posts per day goes into effect 1/1/08.

It was kinda tough for me to warm up to the Beemer set also. I do have the M1 in red, Z8 and (one of my favorites) the Isetta. Likewise, I think they're all wonderfully done. Should have been an 840 or 850 in the set.....always thought the car had beautiful lines.

Lummox has done some great looking black wash on the Matchbox Alfa wheels - should be worthwhile to ask his technique.

Any 8-series in this release? I always loved those "shark noses"!

It's really too bad there wasn't 8 series in the first release. I hope there is a chance for 2nd series. I would love to see 850, 570, Z1, maybe some older stuff from Alpina - B7 Turbo, old 3-series, 320i in Jagermeister livery....huh... there is quite some material. Kyosho, please make BMW Minicar series 2! :p :p
