My wife will love it!! Not a muscle car by a long shot, though.

Paint it black and call it a Hampster Hearse!

That's pretty neat!

Was it part of a 10-pack or an individual find? I love that casting and this will make a great addtion to my collection.

Thanks for sharing your pics!

Here's a couple previous basic Matchbox releases. I don't know if there were others.

The other 4 cars are (top to bottom):
BMW Z4
Audi RS6 Avant
Opel Speedster
Porsche Cayanne Turbo

Nice pics, markkaz. Mama would love those.

The other ones don't compare.
The tampo detailings seriously make that car.

The license plate is S-13(13th letter of the alphabet=M)-1(1st letter of alphabet=A) R-T "SMART" aren't they?? Does Matchbox get into this little hidden meaning game often??

Michael Heralda is the genius behind the designs of Matchbox models, and he loves puting little hidden extras in tampo designs. There are also codes included on the blisters for the basic range too. Even the catalog/poster put some in. They really have gone to town in putting codes on models, and creating various logos that appear on a variety of vehicles throughout their ranges.

This Smart is one of the best versions of the casting. There have been some really good ones in the basic range, although they were never sold in USA.

:) :D :p

The basic wheels on Matchbox are some of the best wheels on any $1 car from any manufacturer.
