Without a doubt, the '76 Chevy Van. Reminds me of my days right out of HS. 1976 was a year of the biggest birthday party around in case some of you collectors weren't old enough to remember. It was also the year I began dating my future ex-wife. She only loved me for my '75 Corvette :(

I could vote for the Lexus 430 or the Alfa Romero. Both were outstanding castings. For sheer coolness value the Hearse also has to be in the running. Heck, the two door Bently was a great rendition of a car not usually done in 1/64 scale. In my mind, one could vote for about half a dozen of the new MB and have a great arguement to be made. It's really difficult to go wrong with the newer MB castings these days.

I'm realy only a fan of the Alfa, Cadillac hearse, and the Mini van.
For a buck, the Alfa is outstanding. Just my personal taste is all.

Red Alfa or Blue bus... The Lexus and Bentley are nice also.

I'm really liking the Bentley. So I say the Bentley as car of the year.

Mostly because I'm a fan of the Mini more than any of the above mentioned models, I'm going with the Mini Van.

I vote for the black Hearse. A friend of mine has a funeral home business and loved the one I gave him...uses it as a desk ornament.

The 2 different tail light versions added some interest to it. I have only seen the shorter tail light version of the white one...wonder if the variation will show up on that one too.

The one that looks like an error was common. It was supposidly a copy of the origional base to make a new mold . If you notice that is just one tail light on top of another!!

There's also a yellow one, but green is the better color.

I'm not really a Matchbox guy, but I've picked up quite a few this year because so many have caught my eye. The Hearse, the Alfa, the E-Type, and I just grabbed a great looking double decker bus with the Matchbox logo on it. But if I had to pick just one, it would have to be the early Ford Bronco. I just love that one, so much so that I took it with me on vacation last week. My wife walked into our cabin and saw it on a shelf under the TV, and asked "Isn't that the same car that sits on our TV at home?" She thinks there's something wrong with me. ;)

Of all the new matchboxes I have seen and bought, I am thinking the white Alfa. It is such a cool classic design with simple lines. I would like one in 1/18th scale.
