Bill, I had mine out for some more testing on Sat. and it was way better than the first time. One word to remember is Limiters! Run at least 3/8" in the rear and 1/4" in the front to lower the truck or else it will want to roll over in the corners. I think I had a 21 tooth pinion on as well, and it seemed about right for the layout. I'm probably going to be running dirt oval this weekend, but was planning on alternating weekends with RCRCR and BFG so I don't get burned out on one thing.

Tazz,
Thanks for bringing your skill saw to the track and helping me cut those jumps down and making the drivers stand handicap accessible.

Indeed it was and you had a very good run in the main.
You ran a Johnson 540 motor in your truck, TQ'd with 16 laps and went on to win the main with 17. Slower is indeed much faster.

This coming Sunday, January 25 is our next oval race.
We had a good showing of trucks last month and a good time was had by all.
If you race Stadium Truck on Saturday night with us you will get a discount for the oval program Sunday.

Yeah, it was fun. Kinda kewl seeing a truck that size make it's way around the track. I still can't believe that the stock tyres hook up so well on carpet. But I still managed to break it, though. I don't think it liked those little jumps in the quad. They were a bit harsh. But I'll be back with it again. And hopefully we'll see more of them.

Oh, and Taz, thanks for letting me run your truck. It was a blast. And being the true addict that I be, I'll hopefully have donuts and rims next weekend that I hope you could work your magic on on.

Bill.

Thanks to everyone who came out to race with us last night, awesome.
Looking forward to next Saturday, Kendall was on a mission, in the stock foam class he consistently turned the fastest laps. No one else was even close. He'll be out Tuesday for practice, like he needs it, Lol.

On another note, this coming Sunday's Oval race is shaping up to be a good one.
Most all the truck guys have committed to attend. On our Oval thread the talk is good, looking like we'll have a real good crowd.

Bill, I wonder how your slash would do on the Oval course?

Well, looks like I'll be running rubber tyres for a while. I tried to order some foams from RC4Less, but it seems they're currently out and not sure when they'll be getting more in. But hey, I've got these shiny new Rulux rims to mount them on when I finally do get some...

Bill, that's not all bad. Andrew needs more competition to run in the rubber tire class. From what I seen, you can wheel it!!!
Taz may have some foams you can buy.

Bill - Don't forget to bring that Slash this weekend. I'm trying to gather as many guys not running the Roar race over at BFG to head over and run some stadium Sat. night. Right now it will be myself and Tom Herron. Hopefully a few other will join us.

Fred- WOW! The new track is a lot of fun! Jake and I had a great time last Saturday. I wish I would made it there earlier so I could have practiced a bit more before the heats-with 7 heats there was no time practice between races. Also, thanks for running a tight ship and getting all the races in before closing.

Ah bugger! I'll be in Chicago Saturday for the motorcycle show. I'll have to catch up with you guys next weekend.

By the way, I got my stuff today to run the vintage Trans Am class. Might have to dust off an old sedan sometime.

How about one with a X-over?
Tazz and I were just talking about doing a x-over.
We are going to will build it on Saturday Feb. 21. Our thought is that the lawout we have in mind will help prepair the track for the 22nd, out next oval race.

How about one with a X-over?
Andy,
Dave Walton came up with a easy way of making a cross over with out change eveything. We can run it this weekend if I can get help setting the track up.

***NOTE***
With the amount of racers that we have been getting. I need to have everyone sign in by 4:45 at the latest. That way we can get started on time.
Thanks,
-Fred

Way cool! I bought another T4 this week on eBay, so I can come run stadium with you guys. I didnt want to mess up the setup on my oval truck. :) You guys should come run Mt. Pleasant next Saturday!

Also - is the mod truck class "open mod" or 13.5/lipo?

Yeah, its a lot of fun. We have a great crowd of Stadium Truck Racers.
Mod, absolutely. Those guy's will welcome more competition.

I wish we could come to Mt. Pleasant. With my Dad and I busy with operations all day Saturday at our home track we just can't get away.

That's too cool. There's nothing like watching yourself in a race from a different point of view. Especially when you crash 4 times in the last two laps to see how you lost the race, LOL!:drunk:
