Mike & Kim,

You two did a great job with the track for the holidays. You walked in the door and seen a nice christmas tree with gifts under it, Christmas music playing, and also had Santa taking pictures with the kids... How does it get better then that?? Let me tell you... Having Santa on the drivers stand racing RC cars with the kids.. That was the best!!! Great Job!!!!! Turn 4 knows what it takes to be the best track around...

We're starting a 50/50 raffle for the Toys for Tots program. The winner will be drawn at the Dec. 9th Point Series Race. You need not be present to win. We'll hold the $ for you! 50% of the money will go to the winner and the other half to buy toys for the Toys for Tots program.

Everyone did an awesome job donating toys for the Toys for Tots race! :woohoo: Almost everyone I saw donated way more than their share of 1 toy that we were asking. It just goes to show you how much our racers care!! We truly have a special bunch of R/C die-hards in Stafford and I'm sure the families in Stafford Springs and Ellington that will receive these toys will be especially grateful. They are used to receiving a box of food from a food pantry, USED toys and USED clothing for Christmas so this will be a special year for them. Marine's Toys for Tots Foundation has contracted with the local Lions Club chapter to distribute the toys and one of the coordinators shared the families' wish-lists with me so I was able to use the $ that was donated last week to get some special items on the list...like a train set, baby doll clothes, infant walker, transformers, bike helmet, etc. The children on the list range from ages 1 month up to 15 years. I desperately wanted to donate a bike but the funds wouldn't allow it. Maybe with the 50/50 raffle, we might have enough for something like that. The Lions Club will be accepting our donations up until Dec. 20th.
