I've noticed that many people feel these are a rarity? I was curious if the black, or the white seem to be more difficult to find?

The black one was the color of the first release that came out earlier in the year. So it's unlikely that you will see any black ones left hanging. They aren't a rarity as I have left half a dozen of the white ones on the pegs in the last couple of weeks. I have bought two for myself. I believe it's just the fact that a hearse in small scale 3" diecast doesn't occur very often and MB did such a great job on this casting is what has made this caddy a hot commodity. Is it really all that rare to find them hanging on the pegs? No. The blue double decker bus on the other hand in my eyes is harder to find than the hearse.

just found the blue bus this past weekend, along with the red hiway hauler I was looking for.
really looking for the White Cadillac Hearse, still have not spotted one in the wild.
am still seeing the Black one out there on the pegs, but I already have my quota.

I haven't seen the white ones yet nor have I seen the green 55th anniversary models. I'm sure they are hitting my So Cal because I see other new cars.

I am seeing 3 at a time of the white ones, just like I did of the black ones. I bought 50 or so black ones and don't expect to see them any more.

I have 5 white ones but am leaving them now (have left several groups of 3 in the last couple weeks). The black one was more interesting (and realistic) to me.

Shouldn't be too HTF when the newer cases are being hung.

You might already know this but hearses used ta come in many different colors.
Black WAS by far the most common, but it wasn't unusual to see gray, gold, silver,blue, and white to name a few.

Usually the funeral homes fleet would be of one matching color and make. :wave:

I did find my blue bus today, I believe you are correct, about 2 dozen stores, and only one blue double decker bus!

Picked up 2 blue bus's a while back and since have left several hanging. Same go's for the 55th Anniv. cars. Got 2 sets and left 3 times that many but still havent seen the first white Hearse.Got 6 of the black one, gave away 2 to another collector and the others, all but 1 will be used for customs.Still no white one anywhere to be found and I just know if I trade for one I'll find a bunch rite after the trade on the pegs,
I always do.

We are still get the black hearses in the new cases here.. cases come with Blue buses and Alfas.. Have yet to see any anniversary cars.

The white Hearse, white Alpha, and blue double-decker bus are brand new. They just barely started shipping and will be appearing in at least the next few case assortments.

It is far too soon to do any comparisons as to whether the black or the white Hearse is harder to find. The black Hearses have sailed their course and I don't believe that they are available in the newest assortments.

Now if a retailer has old stock still in inventory, that's a different story.

k-mart had a case of new cars. no bus, may be already found. but loads of anniverary cars, and 3 white hearses and a white alpha.

picked up 2 sets of greenies today at K mart and there were roughly 5 white hearse's there but i alreday had two so i left them ---- not gonna go crazy buying them like i did with the black ones ---- must have 8 or 10 black ones

I know the feeling,Bought a bunch of the black myself.
Finally found the white one yesterday, 2 at KB Toys and 3 at Kmart. Out of the 5 only 1 didnt have some sort of dirt in the paint on the car or in the blister. :freak:
