I hope the power stays on for this event. I hope the turnout is a good one also. You are competing with two other races that weekend. One being the BRL event in IOWA and the 2nd the Brushless invitational race at Maximus.
I can not attend any of them because of work that weekend..

I am in for 13.5. Who else is in for 13.5? Lowering the price to $20 for this race is a good deal. Can't wait!!!

another note, by a majority vote we wanted to switch to the murdock spec packs for this race in the nastruck class. and the rest of the year, or the rest of time for that matter !! ill be doing my best to get about 20 of these packs at the shop by mid-end of next week. i ran em tonight and they are nice. no run time issues. all i did was cycle mine 2 times at home and i ran em tonight. i will keep everyone posted day by day on updates. but the order almost has to go in on monday for it to work. rich lohr is from ohio and he said hed get his friday at the track and thats plenty of time for him, so i dont want to hear local guys saying they dont have enough time !!!! im guessing most guys would want to have like 3-4 of these each ? they are 25 bucks each. if anyone wants more, please let me know and ill get more later, this initial order is just to get things moving for mext weekend. so please do not go there and suck em all up as soon as you see they are there, ill get more if the shop runs out !!

How many truck regulars are there? If everybody gets 3-4 then 20 will go quick.

it would just be very bad to run out the first weekend after the change. it is a big decision to switch so availability will be crucial. IMO.

I know Mike said today 4 qualifiers and single A main to all be held on Saturday but not sure of the start times or what time the doors will open.

if the track gets em in time, we will switch for next week. you do not have to worry about getting em, im getting a load in at the shop. it all matters if they get delivered by friday or not. if ya want, i can have jw pick you up a few and even cycle em for ya so they are ready to go when you get there saturday morning.

Can I trade in the three spec packs I just bought? Only kidding, A week ago we were sticking with spec packs, now we are changing, think it is a mistake, but I can go with the flow. I looked at them on Murdocks site and it looks as if they are wrapped, are you going to allow the wrap to be removed so you can put them in discharge trays or do you just run them the way they come? no, run em like they come. just like a trinity pack. they apear to have some sort of cover over the ends, because you cannot see battery bars, its smooth on the cell ends.

so you are just charging them and then discharging them, you will reverse cells just like you are doing in the spec packs that is why they won't last, and I think that will happen to these also. Will like I said I will go with the rules and the batteries you voted on, but I think it is just another expense, not only in the batteries ,but the trucks will be faster and that will cause more tire wear and more crashing, just my 2 cents worth. If you enter by Friday, you will have track usage all weekend thru Sunday close. Oval will be set up all week for practice.

As mentioned before, the awards presented are limited to what we had from last month - we do not anticipate any power outages with the Mall!
